Job summary

Hunter Selection is assisting a well-established organisation in Paignton to recruit a 1st/2nd Line IT Support professional. The role provides broad, hands-on support across the business, maintaining and enhancing core systems, infrastructure and end-user technology.

You will join a growing technology team, delivering high-quality assistance to colleagues, supporting Microsoft 365, devices, and networking, with opportunities to contribute to projects and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support or similar technical support role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Experience supporting users in a busy business environment.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing hardware, software and end-user devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to support.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with SQL would be very advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the organisation.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, user accounts and endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and system-related issues.
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business-critical systems and infrastructure.
• Support device deployment, configuration and lifecycle management.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent support experience.
• Maintain security best practices and help ensure systems remain compliant and up to date.
• Contribute to IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
