Job Description:

Role

Working in the IT department, primarily managing the return of various IT equipment, including mobile phones, laptops, radios, and body cams. The role involves liaising with third-party suppliers to place orders and checking incident reports.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Provide excellent customer support to the forces' user base, minimizing service disruptions.
  2. Coordinate onboarding of new starters to meet experience level agreements.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve EUD incidents, requests, and problems within SLAs, identifying patterns and trends for proactive problem management.
  4. Update documentation and knowledge articles as needed.
  5. Support moves, projects, and events scheduling.
  6. Follow asset management processes and procedures, emphasizing governance.
  7. Identify and suggest service improvements within EUD service delivery.
  8. Deliver services aligned with KPIs, User Experience Agreements, and SLAs.
Knowledge and Skills:
  1. Strong customer service ethos.
  2. Ability to follow documented processes.
  3. Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Capability to travel across locations; a full UK driving license is essential.
  6. Experience in ICT operational delivery.
  7. Support experience with Windows 10, smartphones, laptops, and desktops.
  8. Experience resolving incidents, requests, and problems.
  9. Ability to identify and implement service improvements.
  10. ITIL V3 Foundation or V4 certification.
  11. Experience with ServiceNow.
