Job summary

Essential Employment seeks an IT Support Consultant for a temporary assignment in Wembley. The role pays £450.00 per day Umbrella, with a focus on remote access services.

You will administer and optimise Palo Alto GlobalProtect, resolve VPN issues, and support migrations to ZTNA and Prisma Access, while working with networks, security, and service desk teams to maintain secure computing across the organisation.

IT Support Consultant needed in Wembley

This is a temporary role and the rate is £450.00 per day Umbrella

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering secure, resilient and high‑quality remote access services across multiple organisations. They will take ownership of administering, configuring and optimising Palo Alto GlobalProtect, ensuring seamless connectivity, strong authentication, robust endpoint compliance and an excellent user experience.

They will confidently investigate and resolve complex VPN issues, support migrations to modern remote access technologies such as ZTNA and Prisma Access, and work collaboratively with Network, Security, Infrastructure and Service Desk teams to maintain a secure and well‑governed environment. Alongside this, they will contribute to wider EUC services by packaging and deploying applications through Microsoft Intune, supporting Windows 11 devices, strengthening endpoint security, and continually improving user computing technologies to meet organisational and cybersecurity standards.
