Job summary

Kibble Education And Care Centre is offering an IT apprenticeship in Scotland. You will gain hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining IT equipment, with training and guidance to develop technical skills and confidence. The role includes assisting staff with Office tools and IT support, while learning in a supportive environment.

The position focuses on practical IT work within a caring charity, with the chance to build a career in IT through hands-on experience and structured training.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in IT and a desire to build a career in the industry.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with the IT team to set up, configure and maintain computers and IT equipment.
• Develop practical skills in installing software, carrying out routine checks and keeping equipment records up to date.
• Investigate and resolve everyday hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Record and update support tickets and follow troubleshooting procedures.
• Support colleagues with Microsoft Office applications, Teams and other workplace systems while following data protection and IT security guidance.
