Job summary

The Royal Household is seeking an entry-level IT Support Analyst to join our team at Buckingham Palace. You will provide first- and second-line support, help maintain IT infrastructure, and learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.

Starting in this role, you’ll gain practical exposure across hardware, software, and core IT systems, with clear progression paths into cyber security, networks, or software development as you grow your capabilities.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft tools and computer terminology.
• Willingness to learn and develop in IT support roles.
• No IT qualification required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user queries, assess issues, research solutions, and resolve problems.
• Log and maintain accurate support tickets and track recurring trends.
• Triage and diagnose issues, collaborating with colleagues to escalate when needed.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals for users.
