Job summary

Lockheed Martin is offering an IT Solutions Apprentice role based in London with possible Havant placement, within the IT Function. The program enables you to complete a Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship with Impact Futures.

The role focuses on hands-on desktop support for end users, devices, and basic IT operations across LMUK. You will gain experience across incident management, asset control, and project work in a large, UK-wide IT environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English, Maths and IT at minimum.
• Proven customer service skills and a desire to help end users.
• Clear communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day technical support for end-users of client systems, VOIP, smartphones, tablets, printers and hardware.
• Help with incidents and requests via the Service Desk ticket system.
• Maintain the asset tracking system when required.
• Participate in projects such as software/hardware refresh programmes.
• Support iOS devices deployment and ongoing usage.
• Assist with software vulnerability management.
• Possible travel to support other sites within the UK.

This exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Apprentice will be based at the London location within the IT Function. The IT Function provide UK wide support to all the business areas.

This role provides opportunity to complete a Level 3 Information Communication Technician apprenticeship in conjunction with the apprentice provider Impact Futures.

Enterprise Business Services (EBS) consists of LMUK IT Services, Payroll, ESH, HR and Finance functions. With employees located throughout the UK, EBS provides UK wide support to the LMUK business areas.
