Job summary

Amazon UK in Edinburgh is seeking an ITS Support Engineer to provide on-site, high-quality IT support for corporate employees, diagnosing hardware and software issues to ensure seamless operations. You will diagnose problems, implement fixes, and support laptops, servers and websites to keep the business running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows, Mac and Linux in a corporate setting.
• Excellent customer facing skills and communication.
• 2+ years of technical experience in a corporate IT environment.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and OSI model.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site, high quality IT support diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Provide on-call support for high severity incidents and escalate as needed.
• Triage and elevate system or network outages to reduce downtime.
• Execute change management activities in a high availability environment.
• Collaborate with partner teams and vendors on improvements.
• Manage IT asset inventories and mentor peers.
• Stay updated on IT policies and emerging technologies.
