Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking an IT/OT support professional to join our UK team. You will provide end-user IT assistance across the UK & ROI, resolve incidents, and drive process improvements in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

You will work both independently and with a wider IT group, adapting to flexible hours to meet business needs while maintaining high customer service and ownership of issues from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus with a professional and helpful approach.
• Passion for IT and its practical application in a business context.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Excellent problem solving, clear communication, and collaboration skills.
• Independent as well as team-oriented, with ownership and accountability.
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Familiarity with IT service desk concepts and ITIL-like workflows is beneficial.
• Flexible approach to working hours to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective IT and OT support to end users across the UK & ROI.
• Manage and resolve service requests and incidents promptly and professionally.
• Deliver functional changes and support business process improvements.
• Collaborate with users and internal teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong focus on customer service and end user satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across IT services and processes.
• Take ownership of issues and communicate progress clearly to resolution.
• Record and manage requests and incidents using IT service desk tools.
• Work both independently and with the wider IT team; adapt to changing hours as needed.
