Job summary

Sofina Foods in Haverhill is seeking a production line operative to join a dynamic team. You will help drive consistent performance on the production line, train new starters, and ensure health and safety compliance throughout each shift.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 23:00 with paid breaks. You will work closely with the Area Manager to maintain quality and hygiene standards while supporting a multi-skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day line operations with the Area Manager for optimal run speeds and quality.
• Deliver training and support to new starters.
• Monitor performance and maintain a strong training plan for every team member.
• Identify production areas impacting output and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all team members understand and follow technical and health & safety requirements.
• Encourage the team to monitor product quality and reject unsuitable products.
• Ensure equipment and areas are cleaned to hygiene standards and follow a clean-as-you-go policy.
• Complete all required paperwork and line checks accurately.
• Communicate clearly with the team and wider business.
• Promote all relevant company policies and procedures.

The Role

Join our team and play a key role in driving consistent performance on the production line. Working closely with the Area Manager, you will ensure everyone on the line is trained, performing to the required standard, and that health and safety and technical compliance are maintained throughout.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00 -23:00 (paid breaks)
