Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Service Engineer to join its Managed Service Provider team. The role involves delivering professional technical support both remotely and at customer premises, with a broad technical remit and customer-facing responsibilities.

You will troubleshoot, manage incidents, and coordinate with external providers while maintaining security standards and service records. A strong 5+ years background in IT engineering is expected, with MS 365 expertise and Azure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering or IT support.
• Experience with cyber security standards and GDPR compliance is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Experience with Intune, RMM and telecoms platforms.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• Experience coordinating with external service providers.
• Good IT best practices and structured support processes.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including GPOs and security settings.
• Azure administration and implementation experience.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support as the primary contact for customers.
• Attend customer premises to resolve incidents and perform planned maintenance.
• Manage service requests from logging to resolution using Service Desk tools.
• Communicate progress to customers and adhere to SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority incidents as needed.
• Plan daily activities to meet timescales and maintain performance.
• Monitor customer environments and ensure system performance.
• Install, configure, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Keep service records and documentation up to date.
• Respond to critical incidents on-site and remotely.
