Base Location: Reading / Perth / Glasgow

Salary: £550-630 per day

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week / Full time

Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary

The Senior Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading solution development teams to realise the product roadmap and will play a critical role in helping to build out delivery capability within the relevant area. A vital part of the role is delivering the requirements as per the customer expectations.

Roles Available

There are two roles available in this field with similar skills. One of the roles demands experience of PPM project delivery - Oracle Unifier / Oracle Primavera P6.

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

1. Relevant practitioner qualification required; degree level education desired
2. Ideally skilled in a number of project management / change management approaches, in particular Agile delivery, as well as the likes of Prince2, APM and PMP
3. Experience in applying various waterfall (e.g. Prince2, APM, PMP) and Agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture across different levels of portfolio
4. Ability to negotiate timelines and other delivery metrics across product lifecycle
5. Ability to identify and manage key stakeholders
6. Azure DevOps / Jira
7. Application of the concepts of delivery risks and issues
8. Ability to develop countermeasures and contingency plans associated with significant delivery risk
9. Experience of project cost accounting and a good understanding of capex vs opex budgetary structures
10. Ability to choose and deploy the appropriate approaches for outcome delivery
11. High level knowledge of development processes, including but not limited to DevOps, Scrum, Kanban and lean development
12. Shows a high level of planning aptitude
13. Reporting on product performance, value and financials (along with the Product Owner)
14. Support budget and funding submissions, advocating for the correct level of funding to deliver against the products business and operational requirements
15. Takes pride in delivering value while minimising technical debt
