Job summary

Arvato, a leading global 3PL and provider of supply chain and customer service solutions, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for the Hams Hall site in Birmingham. You will lead IT and business change initiatives, delivering projects on time and within budget while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.

The role is based at Hams Hall in Birmingham with a Monday–Friday schedule, offering up to £40,000 per annum and a focus on governance, risk management and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT or business change projects.
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Experience with PRINCE2, Agile or similar methodologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through to implementation and handover.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and third-party suppliers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure projects align with scope, quality and governance standards.
• Support continuous improvement of delivery processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated project professional to lead a range of IT and business change initiatives, working with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through to implementation and handover.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and third-party suppliers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, quality and governance standards.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing IT or business change projects.
• Strong project planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Experience working with recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or similar is desirable.
• A collaborative team player with a focus on delivering excellent customer outcomes.
