Job summary

Sizewell C Company is seeking an Assistant IT Project Manager to support the delivery of IS projects across the SZC programme. The role reports to the Project Manager and IT Programme Manager and works with internal departments to understand business needs and requirements.

The successful candidate will contribute to governance, compliance, and risk management while driving progress across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Prepare and deliver workshops with groups of stakeholders to convey information and reach consensus.
• Knowledge of conducting assurance reviews for stage containment.
• Collaborate with and influence third parties to perform to required standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to IS project delivery to baselined time, cost and quality expectations.
• Develop initiation documents and cost/timescale estimations.
• Coordinate with delivery partners to ensure robust detailed project plans and critical path analysis.
• Manage project workstreams across design, build, test, and deployment lifecycle.
• Report progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to Project Manager and sponsor.
• Ensure compliance with governance, standards, and delivery methods.
• Provide timely reporting to the Project Board, PMO and SZC senior management.
• Engage stakeholders to secure buy-in and timely involvement.
