Job summary

VANRATH in Belfast is seeking a Programme Director for Digital Transformation in a hybrid role (typically in the office one day per week). You will oversee a portfolio of digital transformation initiatives, taking ownership of change, delivering projected benefits and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Excellent planning, communication and risk management are essential assets for success. Immediate start; £750 per day; free parking on site.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant Programme/Project Management qualification.
• Proven project management and leadership skills with knowledge of business analysis and IT service management.
• Excellent planning, communication and presentation skills.
• Expert in project quality management.
• Experience in business case development and benefits realisation.
• Experience with budget preparation and cost control to maximise value.
• Experience identifying and managing project risks to avoid delays or overspend.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the portfolio/programme of change meets objectives and delivers benefits.
• Act as owner of the overall business change supported by the programme.
• Maintain focus on business outcomes while actively managing risks.

The programme is with a longstanding clients working on Digital transformation initiatives.

About you

• Holds a relevant Programme/project Management qualification
• Proven project management and leadership skills and good knowledge of business analysis, infrastructure provision, system development and IT Service management
• Excellent planning, communication and presentation skills
• Expert in project quality management
• Business case development and benefits realisation experiencePrinciples, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of a programme of projects and related activities through to the successful achievement of planned business benefits.
• The identification, assessment and management of project risks, which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose.
