Job summary

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation (blue light service) with locations across Scotland, is recruiting a Programme Manager for an initial 12 month contract at a rate of £500/day (Outside IR35). The role is mainly remote with occasional days in the office.

You will lead a nationally significant transformation programme, manage multiple interdependent workstreams and coordinate activity across Directorates and functions while overseeing budgets and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• MSP/PRINCE2/APM PMQ or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience leading large-scale programmes or complex organisational change.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Degree-qualified or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Recognised Programme or Project Management qualification (MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalent).
• Significant experience leading large-scale programmes or complex organisational change initiatives.
• Experience of programme governance and assurance within a large organisation.
• Experience of managing substantial budgets and financial controls.
• Experience engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders.
• Experience of strategic risk and dependency management.
• Experience of supplier and contract management.
• Experience of producing reports and presentations for Board-level audiences.
