Job summary

CNA Hardy is seeking an IT Programme Delivery Lead in London to coordinate the technical delivery of our Transformation programme. You will ensure robust, supportable solutions aligned to our technology strategy and drive governance across multi-project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex technical delivery across multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
• Experience managing technical teams or functions, including senior specialists and third-party providers.
• Ability to balance delivery pace, quality, risk and long-term supportability in a changing programme environment.
• Strong knowledge of programme governance, change control, release management and service transition.
• Experience in regulated environments is advantageous.

• Own technical delivery across Transformation projects, keeping solutions aligned to agreed plans, budgets and programme outcomes.
• Lead Project Technical Leads and Solution Architects, providing clear direction, coaching, challenge and delivery governance.
• Ensure solutions support enterprise architecture, technology strategy and long-term operational requirements.
• Coordinate integrations, shared services, environments and technical dependencies across multiple projects.
• Oversee testing, release and transition into business-as-usual support, including documentation, monitoring, resilience and knowledge transfer.

The Role We are currently hiring for an IT Programme Delivery Lead in our London office to lead the coordinated technical delivery of our Transformation programme and ensure solutions are robust, supportable and aligned to our technology strategy.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Programme delivery: Own technical delivery across Transformation projects, keeping solutions aligned to agreed plans, budgets and programme outcomes.
• Technical leadership: Lead Project Technical Leads and Solution Architects, providing clear direction, coaching, challenge and delivery governance.
• Architecture alignment: Ensure solutions support enterprise architecture, technology strategy and long-term operational requirements.
• Dependency management: Coordinate integrations, shared services, environments and technical dependencies across multiple projects.
• Operational readiness: Oversee testing, release and transition into business-as-usual support, including documentation, monitoring, resilience and knowledge transfer.

What We're Looking For:

• Technical delivery experience: At least five years of experience leading complex technical delivery across multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
• People leadership: Proven experience managing technical teams or functions, including senior technical specialists and third-party providers.
• Sound judgement: The ability to balance delivery pace, quality, risk and long-term supportability in a changing programme environment.
• Delivery governance: Strong knowledge of programme governance, change control, release management and service transition.
• Regulated environments: Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated sector is advantageous, but not essential.
