Job summary

CNA Hardy in London is seeking an IT Programme Delivery Lead to oversee the coordinated technical delivery of our Transformation programme and ensure solutions are robust and aligned to our technology strategy.

You will lead a team of Project Technical Leads and Solution Architects, drive governance and release processes, and ensure operational readiness across testing and transition into business-as-usual support.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience leading complex technical delivery.
• Experience managing technical teams or third-party providers.
• Ability to balance delivery pace, quality, risk and long-term supportability.
• Strong knowledge of programme governance, change control and release management.
• Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated sector is advantageous but not required.

The Role

We are currently hiring for an IT Programme Delivery Lead in our London office to lead the coordinated technical delivery of our Transformation programme and ensure solutions are robust, supportable and aligned to our technology strategy.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Programme delivery: Own technical delivery across Transformation projects, keeping solutions aligned to agreed plans, budgets and programme outcomes.
• Technical leadership: Lead Project Technical Leads and Solution Architects, providing clear direction, coaching, challenge and delivery governance.
• Architecture alignment: Ensure solutions support enterprise architecture, technology strategy and long-term operational requirements.
• Dependency management: Coordinate integrations, shared services, environments and technical dependencies across multiple projects.
• Operational readiness: Oversee testing, release and transition into business-as-usual support, including documentation, monitoring, resilience and knowledge transfer.

What We're Looking For:

• Technical delivery experience: At least five years of experience leading complex technical delivery across multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
• People leadership: Proven experience managing technical teams or functions, including senior technical specialists and third-party providers.
• Sound judgement: The ability to balance delivery pace, quality, risk and long-term supportability in a changing programme environment.
• Delivery governance: Strong knowledge of programme governance, change control, release management and service transition.
• Regulated environments: Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated sector is advantageous, but not essential.
