Job summary

Sword Group in Aberdeen seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of digital and technology initiatives, including product development and innovation-focused programmes. The role covers end-to-end project delivery across IT and business functions with exposure to R&D environments.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders at all levels, manage risks and governance, and adapt delivery approaches to optimise outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering IT projects in complex environments, preferably regulated sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning, risk management and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in utilities/energy or critical infrastructure environments is a plus.
• Ability to adapt delivery approaches to optimise outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and digital projects across IT and business functions.
• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to delivery and transition to support.
• Drive product development initiatives with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Support R&D and innovation projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, dependencies and governance.
