Job summary

Sword Group in Aberdeen seeks an experienced Cyber Project Manager to lead a portfolio of high-profile cyber security initiatives spanning IT and OT environments.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, governance, and reporting across programs, coordinating internal teams and vendors while driving security capabilities and resilience.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and knowledge of Agile/Waterfall/hybrid methodologies within regulated energy/industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering cyber security or technology projects.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholders.
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within regulated, critical infrastructure, energy, utilities, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple cyber security projects across IT and OT environments.
• Lead the planning, governance, execution, and reporting of cyber programmes and initiatives.
• Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support the expansion and enhancement of enterprise cyber security services and capabilities.
• Drive the replacement and modernisation of cyber security technologies protecting industrial control systems and offshore operational assets.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Ensure appropriate change management and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership and programme sponsors.
• Support compliance, security, and operational requirements across both business and industrial environments.
