Job summary

Sword is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead delivery of digital and technology initiatives, including product development and innovation-focused programmes. The role covers end-to-end project delivery across IT and business functions with exposure to R&D environments.

Experience in Operational Technology networks and cyber security environments is desirable, with a focus on coordinating cross-functional teams and managing governance, risks and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT projects in complex environments, including regulated industries such as energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning, risk management and reporting capability.
• Experience in OT networks & cyber is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and digital projects, aligning with objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to handover to support.
• Drive product development with technical teams, product owners and stakeholders.
• Support R&D and innovation projects.
• Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels with clear communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, dependencies and governance.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery frameworks and organisational standards.
• Monitor and report on project progress, performance and financials.
