Job summary

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is seeking an IT Platforms Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure team. You will provide 3rd line support, on-site event tech, and work closely with external partners to maintain core infrastructure at Lilywhite House and stadium sites.

The role requires flexibility for matches and events, including evenings and weekends. Strong Windows/AD, hybrid 365/Azure, and backup expertise are essential to ensure secure, reliable operations for the club.

Qualifications

Experience in an IT Infrastructure role in a demanding environment.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server administration.
Expert use of Active Directory services and Group Policy.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration in a hybrid environment.
Experience of patch and software deployment with MECM (SCCM) and Intune.
Experience of server virtualization platforms.
Working knowledge of enterprise backup solutions.
Knowledge of certificate management, including internal CAs and SSL/TLS certificates.
Ability to use scripting tools, ideally PowerShell.
Good understanding of network topologies.
Experience with HPE VM Essentials and/or HPE GreenLake.
Working knowledge of Linux environments.
Experience with Veeam backup and replication.
Experience with Okta identity and access management.
Experience with Varonis data security.
Experience working with macOS and iOS.
Experience supporting technology in live events, stadium or venue environments.

Responsibilities

Act as 3rd Line technical point of contact and escalation point for 2nd Line, owning issues to resolution within SLAs.
Provide on-site technical support for matches and events on a rotational basis.
Monitor, maintain and patch back-end technology services for reliability.
Manage backup and recovery with regular restore testing; support DR/BCP.
Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure configurations (Cyber Essentials/PCI-DSS).
Identify improvements and deliver projects alongside support duties; ensure testing/documentation.
Follow change control and manage requests through the service desk system.
Maintain relationships with partner vendors and external support resources.
Mentor 1st/2nd line engineers and develop the team.
