Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networking or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, hardware and common business software.
Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN and wireless connectivity.
Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues.
Understanding of cybersecurity, system updates, data protection and backup procedures.
Familiarity with IT service management, helpdesk systems and support processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and support the organisation's IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, OS, storage and network equipment).
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues for employees and users.
Support LAN/Wi‑Fi connectivity and related network infrastructure for stable, secure access.
Install, configure and maintain hardware and software per standards.
Assist with cybersecurity measures, patches, access controls and monitoring.
Perform data backups, verify integrity and support disaster recovery procedures.
Record, prioritise and resolve incidents and service requests; maintain records.
Monitor performance and assist with updates, upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
Create and manage user accounts and access permissions.
Maintain IT asset inventories and technical documentation; provide regular system reports.
