Job summary

Candidate Source is seeking an IT Operations Manager to take ownership of a well-established technology environment, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and aligned with future business objectives while driving continuous improvement across the organisation. Significant investment has been made in cloud technologies, cyber security and business systems.

You will build on these foundations, refine services, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure technology continues to support

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure and cyber security.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers, contracts and technology service delivery.
• Experience in regulated or professional services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the internal technology function and oversee external technology partners.
• Ensure cloud platforms, infrastructure and business systems remain secure, resilient and highly available.
• Manage Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments while maintaining cyber security and compliance standards.
• Oversee IT budgets, supplier relationships, contracts and service performance.
• Support business projects, technology initiatives and continuous service improvements.
• Maintain disaster recovery, backup, business continuity arrangements and governance processes while providing technical escalation support where required.

Your responsibilities as IT Operations Manager

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the internal technology function and oversee external technology partners
• Ensure cloud platforms, infrastructure and business systems remain secure, resilient and highly available
• Manage Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments while maintaining cyber security and compliance standards
• Oversee IT budgets, supplier relationships, contracts and service performance

What we're looking for in an IT Operations Manager

• Previous responsibility for an internal technology function within a multi-site organisation
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure and cyber security
• Experience managing third-party suppliers, contracts and technology service delivery
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus, Power BI, SQL, reporting or Microsoft Copilot would be advantageous
• Experience supporting business-critical operational systems within a regulated or professional services environment
