Job summary

VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) in Newbury seeks an experienced IT Managed Service Operations Lead to own end-to-end IT operations for Vodafone UK. You will steer the transformation programme, monitor delivery against objectives, and drive platform stability while engaging senior stakeholders.

In this senior role, you will establish DevOps and SRE practices, oversee incident response, orchestration of changes, and champion automation to reduce repetitive work across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in telecommunications IT operations and complex enterprise support.
• Strong track record leading large-scale managed services and service transformation initiatives.
• Expertise in ITIL-aligned service management disciplines (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity).
• Experience with Oracle BSS/OSS and integration platforms; knowledge of cloud tech and containers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for operation, performance and continual improvement of the CCS technology stack.
• Define the IT Operations transformation roadmap and oversee its execution against schedules, costs and objectives.
• Govern platform availability, reliability, performance and operational resilience.
• Coordinate release planning across environments and ensure Change Management controls.
• Drive automation across deployment, monitoring and operational processes.
