Job summary

VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is seeking a seasoned Oracle BSS Stack Lead to own end-to-end operation of Vodafone’s BSS platforms from Newbury. You will ensure availability, resilience and performance while guiding technical roadmaps and stakeholder governance.

You will lead major incidents, drive automation, and partner with Oracle and other vendors to improve production readiness and incident recovery. Strong DevOps/SRE practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications IT and Oracle BSS environments.
• Leading application support or operational teams for 5+ years.
• Administer Unix or Linux environments and use Oracle SQL for performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operation of Oracle BSS platforms, ensuring availability and resilience.
• Define technical roadmaps aligned with Vodafone UK priorities.
• Lead major incident recovery and drive service restoration.
• Govern Problem, Change and Release Management; coordinate multi-environment releases.
• Drive automation across deployment, monitoring and operations.
