Responsible to: IT Operations BAU Team Leader, IT Operations Manager

Location: Bury

Hours – 08:00-16:30 or 08:30-17:00 (40 hours)

Role Overview

Reporting to the IT Ops BAU Team Leader, the role of Administrator is to perform administrative tasks to support the BAU and wider Operations teams. This includes assisting the IT Ops Staging team, NSO, and NSR Teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accountabilities and Tasks:

Responsible for administration and initial triage of new requests to the IT Ops Team, including:

  • Managing the IT Ops unowned queue and directing tickets to the appropriate queues & teams.
  • Handling own tickets, including requests from stores, providing regular updates, and ensuring work is completed and resolved promptly.
  • Arranging and coordinating deliveries and collections via couriers and internal methods.
  • Receiving deliveries on behalf of the IT Ops Teams, recording, distributing, or storing deliveries.
  • Providing reports on key statistics for the IT Ops team.
  • Finding and booking suitable travel options, including flights, hotels, and trains, that meet schedules while minimizing costs.
  • Providing procurement services for the IT Department, including obtaining quotes for goods and services.
  • Managing the department email inbox and maintaining records for the IT Ops Team.
  • Providing ad hoc admin support for NSO & NSR Teams, including bulk shipping and managing trackers.

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage tasks to completion.

  • Experience with shipping across the EU.
  • Experience working with IT ticketing software.
  • Experience with travel booking.
  • Experience with procurement processes and systems.
