Job summary

Convey365 is seeking an experienced IT leader to deliver exceptional IT services, lead a busy IT Support team, and drive technology change at our Newport site.

You will own ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance, oversee service delivery, security policies and incident management, and collaborate with development teams and external suppliers to prioritise business needs. hybrid working and a standout benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT management or senior IT leadership role.
• Experience leading and owning ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Experience managing a busy IT Service Desk and high-ticket volumes.
• Proven people management and team leadership experience.
• Strong experience managing IT suppliers, contracts, and budgets.
• Proven delivery of IT projects from both technical and operational perspectives.
• Experience managing complex technical incidents across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a busy IT Support team and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Own ISO27001 compliance, Cyber Essentials Plus, and ISMS management.
• Provide leadership for incident response and business continuity planning.
• Mentor team members, conduct regular reviews and development planning.
• Oversee supplier contracts, renewals and IT budgeting.
• Coordinate IT with software development, third-party suppliers and business stakeholders.
• Lead technology projects from planning through successful delivery and manage risks.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation, user guidance and training materials.
