Job summary

Howdens Joinery in Watford is seeking an Installations Planning professional to support IT installation planning across 900+ depots and central sites, while helping manage network issues and service requests to keep systems running smoothly.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external engineers, ensure SLAs are met, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, UK-wide environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within IT, networking, or telecommunications environments.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Experience with third-party suppliers/engineers.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, cabling and installation environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and service management processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and management tools.
• Proactive, organized and self-motivated problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate IT installation projects across 900+ depots and central sites.
• Support delivery of 100+ projects annually (depots, relocations, refits).
• Manage incidents and service requests for depot networks and telephony.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers/engineers.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers during installations.
• Monitor and manage stock levels and equipment for projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve or automate processes to boost efficiency.
