Job summary

Palletforce is seeking an IT System Administrator to maintain and develop our internal IT infrastructure across Palletforce and Palletforce Logistics. The role covers server hardware, operating systems, networking, telephony and security, with a focus on delivering projects on time and to budget.

The successful candidate will join the IT Support team and work on on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Microsoft technologies, security hardening and project support for strategic

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Microsoft Server and desktop environments (AD, GPO, Office 365, Azure AD).
• PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switches, firewalls, WiFi).
• Proactive approach to secure and reliable IT infrastructure, with planning and documentation.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, CSP management, endpoint management tools, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware).
• Ability to support maintenance activities including occasional out-of-hours work and travel to Palletforce sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and resources for long-term infrastructure projects and deployments.
• Support IT and business-led infrastructure tasks and projects.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues across server, network, cloud and telephony infrastructure.
• Configure and deploy network/infrastructure equipment to standard configurations.
• Provide out-of-hours on-call support for critical infrastructure issues.
• Develop relationships with other departments to support service delivery.
• Apply problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
