Job summary

Palletforce Ltd is hiring an IT System Administrator to maintain and support our internal IT infrastructure across sites. This hybrid role in Burton-upon-Trent involves server, network, cloud and security tasks, with a focus on standard compliance and project support.

The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft server/Desktop experience (AD/GP/Office 365/Azure AD), PowerShell skills, and solid networking knowledge. Occasional travel and out-of-hours support are required.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft server and desktop environments.
• Strong Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, and Azure AD knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for long-term infrastructure projects, including WAN deployments and voice solutions.
• Support IT-led and business-led projects for infrastructure tasks.
• Troubleshoot server, network, cloud, and telephony issues and maintain security standards.
• Configure and deploy network/infrastructure equipment to Palletforce standards.
• Provide out-of-hours on-call support for critical IT infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to support service delivery.
• Diagnose issues and deliver effective IT solutions.
