Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT engineer to join an international technology organisation. This hands-on role involves delivering IT support and infrastructure services as part of a managed service provider, working with customers remotely and on-site.

You will resolve technical issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with external suppliers while maintaining ticket details and updating customers. 5+ years' experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar IT engineering role.
• Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Microsoft 365 services including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive (mandatory).
• Microsoft Intune, RMM solutions and telephone platforms.
• Network infrastructure knowledge: routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, VLANs.
• Ability to work with external suppliers and document actions.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with GPO and security policies.
• Azure administration and implementation; Windows/Mac operating systems.
• Building and configuring customer environments; strong communication.
• Analytical troubleshooting and independent work, with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted point of contact.
• Visit customer sites to investigate and resolve issues, perform installations and maintenance.
• Manage incidents, requests and tasks through the Service Desk system.
• Provide customers with regular updates and progress tickets within SLAs.
• Escalate critical or high-priority issues to Management when appropriate.
• Organise daily workloads and prioritise urgent tasks.
• Monitor environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Maintain ticket information and document technical work.
• Respond to major incidents remotely and on customer locations.
