Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT professional for a hands-on role with aManaged Service Provider. You will resolve technical issues, support IT environments remotely and on customer sites, and manage incidents through the Service Desk.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT engineering, strong security and MS 365 skills, and a collaborative team approach. Hybrid role with UK deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT engineering role.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and RMM tools.
• Network infra: routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs.
• Liaising with external suppliers and service providers.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022; Group Policy.
• Azure administration and implementation.
• Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Imaging/building customer environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-facing professionalism.
• Analytical troubleshooting and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical help to customers and be the point of contact for support.
• Visit customer sites for issue investigation, installations and maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests via the Service Desk.
• Keep customers updated and ensure SLAs are met.
• Escalate complex issues to management as needed.
• Organise daily workloads and prioritise tasks.
• Monitor environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware/software.
• Maintain accurate ticket records and actions.
