As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help deliver our solutions into live operational service across our suite of products for our entire customer portfolio.

What you will be doing:

• Build, commission, and upgrade NEC Software Solutions' bespoke Communication and CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) products into customer environments.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues within our product suite.
• Create, review, and update engineering documentation, including work plans, instructions, and technical guides.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams, gathering and providing information as needed.
• Work primarily on customer sites, requiring extensive travel, including overnight stays.
• Engage with customers on technical and non-technical levels, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
• Work both in teams and autonomously, increasing independence with experience.
• Follow NEC Software Solutions' processes and procedures diligently.
• Complete activities within deadlines and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain a professional attitude and promote a clean, safe working environment following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Who are you?

• Experienced in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Domain architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 11, Windows Server up to 2022.
• Experience deploying Microsoft Windows and server operating systems.
• Knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL, including backups and queries.
• Experience with virtualization environments like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Proficient with MS Office applications such as Excel, Visio, Word.
• Familiar with ITIL best practices.
