Job summary

Vital Energi seeks an IT Hardware Build Engineer at our Head Office in Blackburn with occasional site support. The role covers building, configuring and deploying IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, tablets and peripherals.

You will ensure secure configuration and accurate asset records before deployment. Key activities include OS/app installs, security updates, device enrolment via Intune/Autopilot/AD/Microsoft 365, and handling onboarding/offboarding with audits and documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years or more in IT hardware build/deployment roles.
• Experience building, configuring and troubleshooting laptops/desktops in a business environment.
• Experience managing multiple device builds and meeting fixed onboarding/deployment deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices and related IT equipment.
• Install/configure OS, software, hardware components and security updates per company standards.
• Enrol and manage devices using Intune, Autopilot, AD, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
