Vital Energi in Blackburn is seeking an IT Hardware Build Engineer to prepare, configure, test and deploy laptops, desktops, tablets and mobile devices for staff nationwide, with occasional server work under the Infrastructure team.
The role demands hands-on experience building and troubleshooting business IT equipment, managing device records with Intune and AD, and supporting onboarding and deployment deadlines while maintaining security and asset lifecycle.

If so, we’re looking for a talented Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in Blackburn with support to sites.
Due to Vital Energi's continued growth, we are looking for an IT Hardware Build Engineer to be responsible for the preparation, configuration, testing, deployment and recovery of IT hardware used by employees across the organisation. The role covers laptops, desktop computers, tablets, mobile phones, monitors, docking stations, printers, mobile connectivity devices, non-core routers and associated peripherals. The role may also occasionally involve the physical preparation or installation of server hardware under the direction of the Infrastructure team.
The successful candidate will have previous practical experience of building, configuring and troubleshooting business IT equipment. They will ensure that equipment is securely configured, fully tested, accurately recorded and ready for use before deployment. This is a hands‑on technical role focused on reliable operational delivery.
