Job summary

Hawk-Eye is seeking a Project Delivery Technician (Hardware) for the Basingstoke head office. This hands-on role involves assembling hardware from components to subsystems, testing against specs, and preparing builds for deployment on-site.

You will work with Hardware Project Managers to hit build schedules, keep stock and project bays in order, diagnose problems, and ensure every leave-the-building kit is ready for deployment.

Qualifications

  • Eagerness to learn new hardware technologies.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve.
  • Diligent and organised approach to resolving technical issues and replacements.
  • Responsible for own work, standards and training.
  • Competent in using all tooling and ensuring safety for self and others.
  • Flexibility to facilitate up to seven days on-site per year.
  • On-site work in Basingstoke as required.

Responsibilities

  • Hardware Assembly: Assemble computer systems, servers and hardware components per specs.
  • Configuration and Integration: Configure hardware and operating systems; ensure compatibility.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of configurations, specs, and test checklists.
  • Logistics and Inventory Management: Manage hardware inventory and keep bays-ready.
  • Coordinate: Work with Hardware PMs to follow build schedules and timelines.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues during builds.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on hardware trends and technologies.
  • Compliance and Safety: Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
