Job summary

Hawk-Eye is seeking a Project Delivery Technician (Hardware) to join our Basingstoke-based team. The role focuses on assembling and configuring hardware from components to subsystems, testing against specs, and ensuring readiness for deployment.

You will work closely with Hardware Project Managers to hit build schedules, manage stock, and troubleshoot issues, maintaining compliance with safety standards in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask, think analytically and solve problems.
• Diligent and organised approach to resolving technical issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 7 days on-site per year.
• Excellent teamwork with project managers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble computer systems, servers, or hardware components based on project specifications and technical documentation.
• Configure hardware components and operating systems; ensure integration with software applications.
• Maintain accurate records of configurations, specifications and testing checklists.
• Manage hardware inventory in collaboration with the stock controller and warehousing teams.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues; share learnings with the Hardware Support Manager.
• Stay updated on latest hardware trends to propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
