Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The IT Communications Coordinator role is to coordinate, assist, and support the IT functions of the business. The primary role is to administrate and coordinate the network line ordering and installation process for all UK and European group stores and aid in project delivery for the IT Operations team.

• Order and administer line installs
• Agree on suitable dates for the installs
• Communicate dates to internal and third-party stakeholders
• Liaise with network suppliers and provide technical details
• Update the master database of configuration details
• Be the point of contact on the day of install to ensure it runs smoothly
• Escalate any issues during the install process
• Manage issues through to completion
• Complete costings for each install
• Help improve processes within the team
• Raise internal tickets for switch configurations
• Manage stock levels of switches and routers
• Provide technical support during the process
• Raise tickets for internal support teams
• Assist in managing schedules for large group-wide projects
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for the IT Operations manager
• Act as the interface between the business and IT for rollouts and new store openings
• Monitor issues within schedules and escalate when necessary
• Liaise with internal engineers for installs
• Attend sites for major communications installs as needed, some foreign travel may be required
• Produce weekly/monthly communications reports
• Keep the IT Operations manager informed on schedules and issues
• Assist on other projects as required
