Job summary

Auto Windscreens is seeking an organised IT Business Assistant to join the IT team. The role supports IT projects, change activities and business process improvement, ensuring changes are well planned, communicated and documented across the business.

You will help drive transformation projects and system implementations, including large-scale programmes such as IFS Cloud, coordinating across IT and business stakeholders to deliver structured, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in documenting and mapping business processes and changes (ITIL or similar).
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with stakeholders.
• Experience in IT/tech environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (Visio/Drawio/ServiceNow/Jira).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting IT projects, transformation programmes or ERP implementations.
• Understanding governance, compliance or audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT change management, calendar, change requests and CAB meetings.
• Support change planning, governance, risk assessments and post-implementation reviews.
• Create and maintain process docs: maps, SOPs, work instructions.
• Work with business teams to document current and future processes.
• Provide coordination across IT projects and transformation initiatives.
• Maintain project docs: RAID logs, action trackers, status reports, business cases.
• Support IT audits, governance and compliance activities.
• Coordinate workshops, meetings and training sessions.
• Act as a link between IT and business stakeholders for clear communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and governance.
