Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to shape and support essential systems for our logistics operations in the UK. You will join a dynamic Technology Team driving modernisation across sites and customers, and you will work on configuring and enhancing line-of-business applications.

The role emphasises collaboration with partners, system testing, and clear documentation, with responsibilities spanning from planning to go-live support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience configuring IT applications, ideally logistics/ERP/TMS/WMS/Finance or HR systems.
• Strong communication skills with users of varying technical ability.
• High level of accuracy in builds and documentation.
• Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to travel with a full UK driving licence and vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support essential line-of-business systems powering operations.
• Lead planning, implementation, and testing of system updates and configuration changes.
• Roll out standard system solutions to new sites and customers for consistency.
• Migrate legacy systems to group-standard platforms to improve efficiency.
• Refine system configurations to align with business needs and value.
• Collaborate with external vendors to support solution delivery and resolve issues.
• Work with operational teams to tailor solutions for ease and efficiency.
• Ensure secure and well-supported IT operations across the organization.
• Define testing requirements, write scripts, and coordinate testing.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation including process flows and guides.
• Contribute to system enhancement roadmaps and future technology evolution.
• Provide hands-on support during system changes and go-live activities.
