Job summary

National Highways is seeking an IT Audit Manager within the Corporate Risk and Assurance division of the Business Services Directorate. You will lead the planning, supervision and delivery of IT internal audits, advisory and other assurance engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.

The role requires significant IT/OT audit experience, line management of audit teams, and a track record of developing audit strategies and annual plans in line with COBIT, ITIL and NIST CSF.

Qualifications

• CISA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Significant experience leading and developing IT audit teams, including line management.
• Proven ability to set objectives and drive high performance.
• Experience developing audit strategies and annual audit plans with risk-based engagements.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills for Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
• IT and OT audit experience with knowledge of technology risk and controls, cyber security, infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with COBIT, ITIL and NIST CSF frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to IT audit plan priorities and resource planning.
• Manage a team of auditors on assignment, planning and delivery.
• Review audit documentation from terms of reference to audit report.
• Attend senior meetings and present audit findings to stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Support Head of IT Audit in developing robust systems and processes.
• Travel to regional offices as required.
