Job summary

National Highways seeks an IT Audit Manager to join the Corporate Risk and Assurance division within the Business Services Directorate. You will plan, supervise and deliver IT audits, advise on risk and governance, and support robust systems and processes for high-quality decision making across the organisation.

You will lead audit teams, present findings to executives, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders while travelling to regional offices as needed.

Qualifications

• CISA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Significant experience leading and developing IT audit teams, including line management.
• Proven experience developing audit strategies and annual audit plans, and leading complex, risk-based audit engagements.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills, with experience producing clear, concise audit reports for Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
• Significant IT and OT audit experience, with knowledge of technology risk, controls, cyber security, infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise applications. Familiar with COBIT, ITIL and NIST CSF.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the IT audit plan including determining priorities and ensuring resources are available to deliver timely, high-quality audits.
• Responsible for guidance and day-to-day management of an effective team of auditors on assignments, planning and delivery of the audit programme.
• Review audit documentation from terms of reference through to the audit report and action management with quality standards.
• Attend and present at senior meetings, presenting key audit findings and acting as a trusted business advisor.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior clients and stakeholders built on professional trust.
