Job summary

National Highways invites applications for an IT Audit Manager in its Corporate Risk and Assurance division. This role oversees IT audits, advisory engagements, and governance improvements across the organisation.

You will support the Head of IT Audit, managing planning, delivery, and reporting while promoting risk-based assurance and robust control environments. Some travel to regional offices is required.

Qualifications

• CISA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Significant experience leading IT audit teams and line management.
• Experience developing audit strategies and annual audit plans.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills for Board-level stakeholders.
• Extensive IT/OT audit experience with knowledge of cyber security, cloud, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT audit plan priorities and allocate resources to deliver timely, high-quality audits.
• Lead and mentor an audit team, plan and deliver the audit programme.
• Review audit documentation from TOR to report, ensuring quality and standards.
• Present audit findings to senior management and act as a trusted advisor.
• Build relationships with senior clients and stakeholders based on trust.
