Job summary

National Highways, based in the UK, seeks an IT Audit Manager to lead audit engagements within Corporate Risk and Assurance. You will evaluate risk management, internal controls and governance, delivering high-quality assurance through a planned programme of audits and advisory work.

The role requires guiding a team of auditors, reporting to the Head of IT Audit, and occasional travel to regional offices across the UK.

Qualifications

• CISA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience leading IT audit teams and line management.
• Experience building audit strategies and annual audit plans.
• Strong report-writing and communication for Exec/Board.
• IT/OT audit experience with risk, cyber, cloud, enterprise apps; knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, NIST CSF.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT audit plan priorities and allocate resources.
• Manage a team of auditors on assignments.
• Review audit docs from TOR to report and actions.
• Present audit findings to senior meetings and advise business.
• Build relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to IT audit plan development.
