Job summary

Computacenter PLC is seeking an experienced SACM Lead to develop and implement robust SACM policies and oversee the CMDB to ensure accuracy, governance and cost control across the asset lifecycle.

You will lead a team in daily SACM activities, collaborate with ITIL stakeholders and service owners, and deliver regular insights through reports and dashboards. A strong background in IT asset management, licensing, and SAP/ITSM tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in IT Asset Management or a related role.
• Experience with ITSM / asset management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Remedy).
• Excellent working knowledge of SACM structure and its purpose, including governance, control and service stability.
• Good understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and inventory best practices.
• Awareness of software licensing models (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Job description

You'll be part of a growing IT Operations team where accurate asset data underpins effective decision-making, compliance, and cost control. Working closely with technical teams, service management, and key stakeholders, you'll help ensure IT assets are well managed, visible, and delivering value throughout their lifecycle. The team values collaboration, continuous improvement, and attention to detail.

Must be SC Cleared, or willingness to undertake

What you'll do
