Overview

IT Assembly & Configuration Technician — We’re looking for 1–2 proactive individuals to join our clients growing team, working in a fast-paced production environment assembling self-checkout systems and performing light IT configuration. If you enjoy working with your hands, have a keen eye for detail, and are comfortable around tech, this could be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is approximately 90% hardware / 10% software, and includes:

  • Assembling self-checkout units and related hardware components
  • Basic IT configuration, such as installing operating systems or software images
  • Testing and troubleshooting hardware to ensure everything works as expected
  • Following build instructions and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the process
What We’re Looking For
  • Hands-on experience with hardware assembly or similar technical work
  • Comfortable with basic IT tasks (e.g., imaging, software installs)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Able to lift and move equipment as needed
