Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Digital & IT Analyst to deliver Tier 1/2 technical support and manage site IT infrastructure across two operational locations. Supporting an site of ~80 engineering and production staff, this role combines desk-side support, hardware and vendor management, data analysis, continuous improvement, and local IT project delivery.
Provide Tier 1 and 2 desk-side technical support for hardware, software, laptops, and mobile devices.
Manage and support local site infrastructure across standard and air-gapped networks, including Active Directory, local servers, backup solutions, LAN/WAN, and disaster recovery.
Manage external IT vendors and oversee hardware/software procurement.
Lead local infrastructure projects using continuous improvement techniques and project management standards (Agile preferred).
Act as site control owner for IT security and compliance standards, including Cyber Essentials, CMMC, and SOX key controls.
Monitor site key performance indicators (KPIs), track support tickets, and maintain systems documentation.
Experience: 5+ years in broad IT support, infrastructure management, vendor coordination, and desktop support.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, mobile device management, hardware repair, and ITSM ticketing tools (e.g., "ServiceNow").
Project & Analytical Skills: Hands-on experience in data analysis, continuous improvement methodologies, and project management.
Security Clearance: Active UK SC Clearance is ideal, or eligibility for SC Clearance (minimum 5 years continuous UK residency; open nationality excluding restricted nations).
Travel Flexibility: Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in Stevenage and 1 day per week in Loughborough.
