Job summary

ECL ltd, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a Compliance Manager to own internal health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across the business.

You will develop, implement and maintain systems aligned to ISO 14001, strengthen the wider quality-management framework, and act as a champion for practical compliance across the organisation.

Based in Bridgend, the role requires an auditor background, strong policy development skills and the ability to engage with managers at all levels.

Qualifications

• Strong Health & Safety and auditing background.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO management systems.
• Experience reviewing and developing policies and procedures.
• Ability to identify gaps and implement practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of internal Health & Safety, environmental, quality and compliance processes.
• Develop and implement an Environmental Management System aligned with ISO 14001 and strengthen the wider Quality Management System.
• Review policies, procedures, risk assessments and management systems for practicality and compliance.
• Lead internal audits and compliance reviews; manage audit schedules, findings, and actions.
• Champion policies, procedures and continuous improvement across the business.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure understanding and consistent compliance.
• Monitor legislation and guidance; provide training and updates as required.
• Investigate incidents and non-conformances; maintain records and reporting.
