Job summary

ECL ltd, part of the Celnor Group, seeks an experienced Compliance Manager in Cardiff to own internal Health & Safety, environmental, quality and compliance processes. You will lead ISO 14001-aligned systems, drive continuous improvement, and work with managers across the business to embed compliant practices.

The role focuses on audits, policy development, and practical, scalable processes that support regulatory compliance and ISO certification efforts.

Qualifications

Strong background in Health & Safety, compliance, quality or integrated management systems.
Good working knowledge of ISO 14001.
Experience implementing or upgrading ISO management systems.
Understanding of quality-management principles and ISO standards (ISO 9001).
Experience carrying out internal audits.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of ECL’s internal Health & Safety, environmental, quality and compliance processes.
Develop and implement Environmental Management System aligned with ISO 14001 and strengthen Quality Management System.
Review policies, procedures and risk assessments to remain compliant and effective.
Lead internal audits and compliance reviews; manage audit schedules and corrective actions.
Embed best practice and continuous improvement across the business.
Collaborate with managers to ensure understanding and adherence of compliance requirements.
Monitor legislation and guidance; provide training and updates where required.
Investigate incidents and non-conformances; provide clear compliance reporting.
