Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Contract Representative to lead the Isle of Wight Contract. You will manage senior-level client relationships, oversee operations, and drive outcomes across multiple facilities and a fleet of service vehicles.

Responsibilities include P&L ownership, budgeting, and strategic planning, with a focus on delivering contract targets, safety compliance, and continuous improvement within a large, multi-site operation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a collection service or integrated waste contract of similar scale.
• Advanced financial management with full P&L ownership and budgeting experience.
• Experience leading large multi-site operational teams with strong people-management skills.
• Strong senior-level client liaison, negotiation, and contract-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Isle of Wight Contract as Veolia's Contract Representative, managing senior-level client relationships and contract meetings.
• Direct operational responsibility for Lynbottom Waste Management Facility and Afton Marsh HWRC, including collections and a fleet of ~40 vehicles.
• Direct team management of 8 managers and ~120 employees, with development and succession planning.
• Own the contract budget and produce business plans for new projects and variations.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with contract specs and KPIs; deliver client reporting and targets.
• Drive health, safety, environmental, and legal compliance and identify improvements and innovations.
• Contribute to business strategy as part of Veolia's leadership team.
